Echobeat are a band from Southampton, UK who play Dance-Rock music. This hybrid  contains all the riffs and stomp of a rock band while mixed in between are beats you can dance to on a Saturday night...

We have been around for sometime, developing and changing our sound but finally we have found something which is worth listening to and something which is just as good live as it is in the studio.

In a week in the summer of 2007 we recorded a 3 track EP at Sawmills Studio, Cornwall (Muse, Oasis, Supergrass, The Verve etc) and in October 2007 we returned there for 3 days to record a 7 minute track called 'Hit the Groove'. In March 2008 we released a single from this EP called 'Cobra Kai', and after alot of hardwork and support from fans, and people willing to listen to new music we got the single to Number Two in the UK Indie charts.

As well as recording we have gigged a lot in London, Southampton and Brighton to name a few places and have headlined and sold out popular venues such as the Camden Underworld, Camden Barfly, The Fly and The Joiners. Through this we have built up a mixed and loyal fanbase.

In the future we hope to build on the success of our single and get enough money to return to Sawmills and finish the album. We'd also like to support larger bands and tour to expand our fanbase and get heard in other regions, as well as releasing another single with perhaps more major backing aiming for higher mainstream chart positions.
